Pre January Orientation

Ok, its a little difficult to write everything in Spanish, so for now everything will be in English. If anyone wants me to translate my posts to Spanish, just let me know.

So anyways, this post is a just a pre writing quip to my January orientation, which is coming up really soon, on January 5th and 6th, and I'm super excited! I just got my email about it yesterday, and apparently we get to stay overnight with all the other outbound students, and go swimming, and everything.

I hope you had a wonderful holiday.

We are looking forward to our upcoming outbound student orientation.

The orientation will be held in Sidney New York at the High School on Saturday and Sunday January 5-6.

Please see the attached agenda for more detail.

This is a two day orientation event.

Saturday is designed for outbound students only.

Please arrive at the Sidney High School by 10AM.

Students will be staying overnight and need to bring the following items with them.

-toiletries

-sleeping bag/pillow

-swim suits/towels (pool will be open to us in the evening)

-Casual clothes

-A snack to share for Saturday night (can be cookies, fruit, chips, or even something from the country you are going to)

-pen and paper

-3 ring binder (1 ½”)

Sunday is for students and their parents.

Parents please arrive at Sidney High School by 9AM.

We expect to be done by 3PM.

We will be covering insurance, travel, documentation, and you will have an opportunity to meet with country contacts.

First Post/ My introduction to the Rotary Program

En Español : Hola, Mi nombre es Ruth Meghan Anna. Yo soy de Nueva York en los Estados Unidos, y yo voy a Bolivia el próximo año con el Rotary YEP. Hago este blog para hacer un seguimiento de mis experiencias para el próximo año a dos años. Por ahora, no hay mucho que escribir, pero voy a publicar tanto como me sea posible. Me voy para Bolivia en agosto, pero aún tengo muchas conferencias y eventos que atender antes de irme, así que sigue leyendo para ver fotos y saber más sobre el programa y mis experiencias.

En Inglés/ In English : Hello, My name is Meghan Ruth Anna. I am from New York in the United States, and I'm going to Bolivia next year with the Rotary YEP. I am making this blog to keep track of my experiences for the next year to two years. For now, there's not much to write, but I will post as much as I can. I'm going to Bolivia in August, but I have many conferences and events to attend before I go, so keep reading to see photos and learn more about the program and my experiences.
